Carols in the Domian

Many Sydneysiders will know of the traditional Carols in the Domain. It is Sydney’s largest free Christmas concert, and screens live across Australia on The Seven Network. In 2016 the theme will be of ‘Christmas Traditions’.

Carols by Candlelight are a time-honoured tradition for families across Australia who sing-along to Australia’s best-loved performers and favourite Christmas songs. Now, in its 34th year, the iconic Christmas celebration will start a new tradition – for the first time ever the show will take place on a Sunday!

As it is a free concert, it would not happen without the generous support of the sponsors.  This year’s major sponsor is Woolworths.

Woolworths will be showcasing Bertocchi Ham at the event, and have asked Amory Catering to facilitate the catering activation.  Woolworths and Bertocchi will be offering sample taste tests of their signature Double Smoked Ham.

Oh, and don’t forget to visit Woolies Gingerbread House.

Boardroom Catering

Today’s Boardroom Catering menu is:

– Freshly baked bread
– Balsamic / oil / salt flakes / butter

ENTRÉE
– House Smoked Free Range Chicken Salad, pancetta, kipfler potato, quail egg & smoked aioili
– Spiced Pumpkin Tortellini with Shaved Fennel, Toasted Pine Nuts and Goats Cheese Sauce (vegetarian option)

MAIN COURSE
– Slow Roasted Fillet of Beef, smoked potato puree, carrot fondant, confit shallot & red wine jus
– Mushroom, Spinach and Lentil Pithivier served with Roasted Eggplant Relish & Tomato Vierge Dressing (vegetarian option)

DESSERT
– International & Local cheese platter with quince paste, dried fruit, nuts & crackers

TO FINISH
– Handmade petit four
– Freshly brewed coffee / tea

Masterchef

Masterchef is back for another season.

Matt, George & Gary will take a group of amateur cooks on a culinary journey of a lifetime.

Catering shows like Masterchef give an insight into to behind the scenes working of a catering company.

In the last season, the cast & crew of Masterchef visited Sydney to put the contestant through a catering team challenge.

Let’s see what happens this year.
